For fifteen years I've worked in B2B marketing here in Austin — building brands, running campaigns, and figuring out what actually makes people stop and pay attention. Photography grew out of that work, not away from it.
So I shoot the way I think about marketing: with intent. Before I raise the camera I already know what the image is for and who it's for. That's why the work reads as editorial — travel, food, the texture of a place — but it's made to do a job, not only to look nice.
I'm based in Austin and I travel for the work — Japan, the coast, wherever the light and the subject are. I take commissions for brands, restaurants, and hospitality, and I sell prints of the personal work.
Work with meEvery frame starts with a question — what is this picture for, and where will it live? The answer decides the shot.
Mood, light, restraint. I'd rather wait for the right moment than stage a busy one.
Fifteen years of building brands means I think about the audience and the outcome, not just the aesthetics.
I shoot, I edit, I deliver. No handoffs, no substitutes — the person you hire is the person behind the camera.
Commissions, prints, or an idea you want to talk through — send a note and I'll reply within a day.
